Best Day: Walking around Nassau (in the Bahamas, not Long Island) with DH

Best Decision Made – To write the book of my heart (in which multiple people are killed, lol)
Best Compliment Rec’d – beta readers quoting parts of the book of my heart while giggling uncontrollably (in addition to the deaths, there are many chuckles)

Great list! I's have to say some of the best advice I recieved was to write what you love, not what's necessarily popular at the moment.

What a fantastic list! I am going to check out that purple pen and the books for sure and I'm a huge JUSTIFIED fan, too. The complexity of the characters just blows me away. Expectations are tricksy little buggers!
I like the one about lowering your expectations of others. That IS good advice.
I love "Best of" lists. Fave TV show this year would be DEXTER, and my fave movie would probably be THE TOWN. And I ditto purple ink - so much much kinder to edit with purple than with red.
