Blockbusters
Anyone who really knows me knows that I’m more than just a little bit excited about the movie COWBOYS & ALIENS, set to release at the end of this month. I haven’t been this excited about a movie premiere since, maybe, JAWS. Seriously. It’s been that long. I’m so excited that I may even stand in line to buy tickets and, believe me, when it’s 115 degrees in the desert where I live, you gotta want something pretty bad.
And I want this movie. Now, please.
I love movies set in the Old West. I love cowboys. But most of all, I love genre bending. I mean, in COWBOYS & ALIENS a spaceship arrives in Arizona in 1873 to take over the Earth. A band of hunkalicious cowboys must save the day. There will be horses, silver spurs, cowboy hats and leather chaps. And did I mention the movie stars Daniel Craig?! Yes, please! More!
Summer is the perfect season for big blockbuster movies. I almost feel like a kid again (except when Daniel Craig pops on the screen, of course.)

I have never dressed in costume for a movie, but I thoroughly love it when other people do. When I was in high school, I lined up with friends to see the first 2 Batman movies (with Michael Keaton). Why, I don't know... it was just a cool thing to do back then.

I love Daniel Craig (torture scene in Casino Royale was brilliant acting). And Harrison Ford. Cannot wait for this movie!!!
Marsha, So glad I'm not alone on this movie. And I loved Craig in Casino Royale, not just because he totally rocked that tuxedo, but because he brought a new depth to the 007 character.
