Here are some of our favorite things about January. Be sure to tell us yours!
JB: Three things I like about January:
1 -- A new calendar. I usually have three paper calendars going.
2 -- The return of some cable shows. (I'm looking forward to SUITS and JUSTIFIED.)
3 -- Birthday cake -- not mine, but the hubby's
CLARICE: Three things I like about January:
1 -- A new project - I usually start a new story at the beginning of the year. For some reason I get a creative boost from the holidays.
2 -- After Christmas sales! I love finding discounted holiday things - wrapping paper, cards, decorations. Never pay full price! LOL.
3 -- Longer days - you don't notice it right away, but the days are getting longer again and it's not quite as dark in the morning when it's time to get up.
B.E.: Three things I like about January:
1 -- Winter's about halfway through, so we're over the hump and on our way into Spring!
2 -- The feeling that there's a whole year of possibilities ahead.
3 -- I can start looking forward to my birthday - even though it's still several months off. =o)

Hrmmmm...I'm sensing a theme here--longer days, new creativity and possibilities, and don't ever pay full price. Sounds like a plan to me! ;-)
LOL, SIlver....sounds like a plan for the whole year, doesn't it?
JB, so far [knock wood] I can't complain about the temperature. I hear it will be in the 60s this weekend. Weather like that makes me wish it was garage sale season...sigh.
I love calendars, JB. I usually have four up around the house somewhere. This year I'm sitting at one - for now. ;o)
