Sick of Winter? Let's Talk Spring

I don't know about all y'all, but the Killer Chicks are ready for Spring.  So...

What's your favorite flower to see in the Springtime?

B.E.:  Personally, I can't wait until everything I planted here last year comes up - just so I can see what my new landscaping will look like.  The first up should be the crocuses, and then the tulips and daffodils!  Nothing says 'Spring's here' like seeing their pretty blossoms.  =o)

JB: I know it's weird and I know it's a weed, but I always find dandelions to be particularly cheery.

The first to 'bloom' here will be the Forsythia - with it's cheery yellow leaves, really means spring has sprung. We're heading into a horrific weekend - snow tonight, 100K (60 mph wind gusts), then a ton of rain...only to have it cool off and then dump us on Saturday with a ton of snow. More snow forecast for Tuesday. Ugh - over winter already!

I love Forsythias, Janet. We've been thinking about planting some colorful shrubs here and those are definitely in the running - along with burning bushes. Sorry your weekend is looking like more winter. Stay warm and think of flowers. =o)

I'm not good with flower names! I'm just thrilled to see any. :)

You don't need to know their names to enjoy them. =o)
