Doing what I love this month

Happy February!!

Big thanks to everyone who helped make the launch of THE HITWOMAN AND THE SACRIFICIAL LAMB a success last month!

Here's what I'm tackling this month.

My writing goals:

I'm having a blast writing the romantic suspense novel HARM'S WAY.  It's all about Kimberly's bad boy cousin, Harmon, who returned to town toward the end of UNTIL PROVEN INNOCENT.

He's misunderstood and unappreciated, but I love him.

I'll also be editing THE HITWOMAN AND THE CHUBBY CHERUB and, if things go according to plan, that will be published by the end of the month.

My health goals: To install the habit of drinking 40 ounces of water BEFORE lunch every day. (Last month it was 20 oz before coffee)  AND to continue my habit of walking around the lake every morning, PLUS doing an exercise dvd most mornings.

My creativity goals:  To enjoy the PROCESS of what I'm doing, rather than worrying about whether the PRODUCT will fail.

My happiness goals: To maintain my happiness/gratitude practice (you can find it here) and to work from a To Do list every day (because checking stuff off makes me happy).

Tell me Killer Friends: What are YOU working on this month? Do you love To Do lists? What are YOU loving this month?

Yay for launch day success! Yay for tackling those goals. You rock. =o)

This month, I have to finish the edit notes for Fertile Ground and get those to the editor after she gets me the final edit pass for In Deep Wish. THEN I have to input her final edit notes, read through that sucker again, and start getting ready for publication in March. And while I'm doing that, I have to read-through Up Wish Creek so I can get started editing that. My one year anniversary for Dying Embers' publication is coming up and I need to schedule some hoopla there.

I'll continue with my 'do something active every day' goal. I'm on day 30 and out of those I've only missed 4 days. I'd like to not miss any in February. We'll see how that goes.

Well, until this morning, I was loving the unseasonably warm weather.

Okay, starting to feel kind of lazy...BUT I am busy editing this month. Which I love! I know, I know it's crazypants. The hardest thing for me is writing that first draft, which is now essentially done. Also I try to make lists. They help. Must try harder.

Huge congrats on your release day success! Woot! Woot!
