Summer Mondays

I was forced to open the door in my pajamas this morning. There was no avoiding it because they spotted me through the door before I could run and hide. In my defence, it was before 8:00 am and I wasn't yet hidden away in my office. Darn lawn care companies. Stupid locked gate. Could they tell I wasn't wearing a bra? But so thankful I don't have to do the job myself...

Mondays. There should be a television show - Monday Morning Mood Swings.

Enough procrastinating! I should be writing. I need to sit my butt in my chair and get to it. Like all the wonderful (and productive) writers who won RITA and GOLDEN HEART awards at this year's annual RWA (Romance Writers Association) conference are probably doing. And just in case you want to check who some fabulous writers and really great books you can go to Heroes and Heartbreakers for a complete list of the winners.

Are summer Mondays the most challenging as far as getting back into routine? Or is it just me? I'm sure it isn't only me. You try and pack so much into the weekends that it takes the rest of the week to recover. That's summer for you. And thank goodness for it. We might not be getting enough sleep but vitamin D levels are soaring.

What are your plans for today?

People knock on my door when I'm not expecting them, they get what they get. And be thankful I don't walk around au natural. LOL

Yes, you should be writing. So should I. I expect most of the people who attended RWA are probably in recovery right now. We didn't go, so we're all fresh and bushy-tailed. Heh. My Vitamin D may be up, but my hydration levels are down. It's so hot. Bleh.

Plans. Umm. I will write some stuff tonight. I did a marketing thing earlier. I vacuumed! That's got to count for something. ;o)

Vacuuming counts, B.E.! Hope you getting stuff done, despite the heat!
